CIRC tournaments facts
The much awaited sports meet was held from 14 – 16 Dec 2008, in Jodhpur the event was inaugurated by the Hon’ble chief Guest H.H. Maharaja Gaje Singh ji with Guest of honour shri Uttam Prakash Agarwal Vice President ICAI, shri Jaswant Singh Bishnoi, M.P. Jodhpur, shri Kailash Chand Bhansali MLA Jodhpur City, shri B.M. Kothari Retd. ITAT in the presence of large number of CA Member & CA Students, among other present on the occasion were M.C. Bohra Chairman Jodhpur Branch & V.P. Daga Secretary Jodhpur Branch.The Event was encouraging with around 200 Member participated in Cricket, Carrom, Chess & Table Tennis from seven states.One of the highlights was this event the coordination of Jodhpur Sports League. It was really great achievement.Along with the Sports activity the Jodhpur Branch also organized a Cultural Tour & Cultural function for all Members, in this function many CA Participated & performed really well.The Event Closing Ceremony was held on 16.12.2008, CA O.P. Maheshwari took the stage for the post match ceremony. A special closing ceremony arranged after the match, in prize distribution ceremony with us Chief Guest Sh. Vineet Ji Kothari, Justice Raj. High Court, Special Guest Sh. Kailash Chand Bhansali MLA Jodhpur City, Sh. Gyan Chand Ji Parakh MLA Pali, Sh. S.K.Sood DRM Jodhpur with our CIRC Chairman CA Sudhir Bhansali, Jodhpur Branch chairmen CA M. C. Bohra, Jodhpur Branch Secretary CA V.P. Daga with many Senior CA. Winner & Runner-up teams got Trophy & player gets momentous.On this event Jodhpur Branch of CIRC of ICAI in association with Jodhpur Sports League prepared a Souvenir. The Souvenir was launched by Chief Guest & all other presented Special Guest on 16.12.2008 at closing ceremony. We thankfull to CA Sanjiv Bhootra & CA Mansih Sukhani for prepared this Souvenir.After mind-boggling action of Eight Teams, Bhopal Tigers pipped Lucknow Nawab by 47 Runs in the thrilling grand finale to lift the CIRC DIAMOND JUBILEE SPORTS MEET – 2008 Trophy. CA Harit, Lucknow was declared the MAN of the Tournament for batted superbly & scored total 197 runs in mega tournaments. Raipur Diamond got the best participating team trophy.We Thankful to all Coordinator & all Member of JODHPUR SPORTS LEAGUE for Organized this huge events in great manner, in last CA O.P. Maheshwari gives thanks to Umpires & ground staff. Its really great achievements of ICAI JSL Members.There were a lot of apprehensions about CIRC Diamond Jubilee Sports meet- 2008 but at the end looking at the grand success, it is cricket all the way," stated CA M. C. Bohra Chairmen of Jodhpur branch of ICAI.
